PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Keep your plunge water clear and your circulation system working efficiently. NUVIE Premium Ice Bath Filters use 20-micron paper filtration to capture fine particles and debris before they circulate through the chiller.
They are designed for NUVIE Ember ice baths and are also compatible with many chiller systems that use a standard 20-micron paper filter cartridge. If you own another model, contact NORD SAUNAS before ordering so we can confirm compatibility.

Replacement guide
- Residential use: replace approximately every 30 uses, depending on water quality and usage.
- Commercial or high-use settings: replacement may be required every few days to once a week.
Check the filter sooner if water becomes cloudy, visible debris builds up or flow falls below approximately 15 litres per minute. A light rinse may temporarily improve flow, but these filters are intended to be replaced rather than reused indefinitely.
How to change the filter
- Turn off and isolate the chiller in accordance with its instructions.
- Unscrew the filter canister.
- Remove the used cartridge and insert the replacement.
- Refit the canister hand-tight, then restart the system and check for normal flow and leaks.

Compatibility and water care
A 20-micron rating alone does not establish cartridge fit. Confirm the cartridge dimensions and chiller model before ordering for another system. This is a particulate filter; it does not replace water testing, cleaning or the chiller’s sanitising routine. Filters are consumable items and their replacement interval depends on use and water quality.
Manufacturer warranty
Contact NORD SAUNAS to confirm the applicable manufacturer warranty for the exact item before purchase. A fixed product-specific term is not established by the current supplier information reviewed; sauna cabin warranty periods should not be assumed to cover separately purchased accessories. Do I need an electrician to install a sauna?
Yes — all electric saunas require a dedicated hardwired circuit installed by a licensed electrician. You will need a minimum 32A circuit breaker (we recommend 40A) with an RCD safety switch. This is a straightforward job for any qualified sparky and typically takes 2–3 hours. We will send you the full electrical specifications sheet before delivery so you can brief your electrician in advance.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery timeframes vary by product and your location. Australian metro areas typically receive delivery within 3–10 business days from order confirmation. Regional and rural areas may take longer. Your estimated arrival date is shown on the product page and confirmed in your order confirmation email. We will send you tracking information as soon as your order ships.
How is it delivered?
Your sauna or cold plunge is delivered by a professional freight carrier directly from the supplier's Australian warehouse. Delivery is to your kerb or garage — it does not include carry-in, assembly, or installation. We recommend having 2–3 people available on delivery day to assist with moving the flat-pack components to your installation location.
What base does it need — concrete, pavers, or a deck?
Your sauna needs a firm, level, waterproof base. Concrete slabs, pavers on compacted base, and structurally sound elevated timber decks all work well. The base must be perfectly level — even a slight slope affects door alignment and long-term structural integrity. We recommend checking with a builder or landscaper if you are unsure about your surface before ordering.
Do you offer installation services?
Professional assembly can be arranged for many of our products and delivery locations through our supplier and installer network. Availability and pricing depend on the selected model, postcode, site access, base preparation and installation conditions.
NORD SAUNAS can coordinate product selection, technical documentation, delivery and, where available, professional assembly. Licensed electrical, plumbing and site-preparation work must be completed separately by appropriately qualified local trades.

What is your return policy?
Due to the size and nature of these products, returns are assessed case by case. If a product arrives damaged or is not as described, we will work with you and the supplier to arrange a replacement or resolution at no cost to you. For change of mind returns, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Return freight costs apply and products must be unassembled and in original packaging.
