Which iCoolSport model is right for me?
The best model depends on your available space, preferred immersion position, number of users and whether you need cold, heat or both.
- MiPod Mini: Compact option designed primarily for one person.

Do I need to add ice?
No. iCoolSport Chill and Dual Temp systems use integrated refrigeration to cool and maintain the water automatically. Once the desired temperature is selected, the system operates as required without the inconvenience and ongoing cost of buying ice.
How cold or hot can the water get?
Current MiPod Chill and Dual Temp models can cool the water to approximately 4°C. Hot and Dual Temp configurations can heat the water to approximately 40°C.
Actual performance depends on the model, ambient temperature, placement, ventilation and whether an insulated cover is used.
Can the system be installed outdoors?
Yes, subject to the installation requirements of the selected model. The system should be placed on a flat, structurally adequate base with sufficient ventilation and service access.
Electronic components should be protected from direct rain, prolonged sunlight and other harsh environmental exposure. Contact Nord Saunas if you would like us to review your intended location before ordering.
Does it require permanent plumbing?
Most all-in-one MiPod and iSteel models do not require permanent mains plumbing. They can generally be filled using a hose and emptied through the supplied drainage connection.
The Ice Shower range requires a suitable mains water supply, drainage and professional installation.
What electrical connection is required?
Electrical requirements vary between Chill, Hot and Dual Temp configurations. Australian MiPod models operate on 220–240V, but the outlet and circuit must be suitable for the selected system and its wet-area location.
Nord Saunas can provide the relevant technical information so a licensed electrician can confirm the installation requirements before delivery.
How is the water kept clean?
Filtration equipment varies by model. MiPod Elite and iSteel all-in-one systems include integrated filtration, while filtration may be configured differently across other MiPod products.
The water must still be monitored, sanitised and maintained correctly. Regular filter cleaning, balanced water chemistry and showering before use will help keep the water clear and reduce maintenance.
Are iCoolSport products suitable for commercial use?
Yes, selected iCoolSport systems are suitable for gyms, recovery studios, wellness centres, sporting facilities and other commercial environments.
The correct model depends on expected daily use, the number of consecutive users and water-treatment requirements. Commercial buyers should speak with Nord Saunas before ordering so the most appropriate system can be confirmed.
